The Netherlands is aging... experience your own future, step into our Old Age Simulation Suit

Until 2040, the pressure on Dutch society due to double aging will only increase. Healthcare will have to prepare for this. Healthcare will have to change fundamentally and with it prevention, cure and care for all future elderly.

As a Physiotherapy lecturer at the HvA, an epidemiologist and a pioneer in innovative healthcare education, I, together with colleagues and students, have carefully designed and tested every component of the Age Simulation Suit (OSP). Our dedicated team has worked closely together to create a unique learning experience that allows participants to experience age-related ailments and chronic diseases in a lifelike manner. Through our own innovation journey, we have not only developed an Age Simulation Suit (OSP), but have also collected valuable feedback from the first 80 participants. This feedback has helped us to continuously improve the OSP and adapt it to the needs of our students/participants. We are proud of the result of our work and remain committed to developing high-quality educational tools that have a positive impact on healthcare, education and beyond.
